This is the flyer I had made up for J&D in Wexford, PA. I will be making some different ones and moving the important information as this page rolls over. Keep us informed so we can plan a great Weekend. The Fort Allen show is only Saturday & Sunday but I'm including Friday as a set up day for those camping or want to come early.

For the green lurkers on here, the pic of the nice 140 with the hood up was ment in good fun, but some from the other site dont seem to like it. If thier feelings are hurt, I appoligize for that. Unfortunatly some amoung us get to serious in thier pursuit of thier hobby. I can make fun of any brand tractor but green ones I guess. Anyhow, look out at the fall plow days, the 982 is gonna eat most green ones for lunch! Bout the only ones it wont eat are hopped up 420 and 430s, it would take a sub compact to do that. I still had a blast at Ft Allen, a big round of thanks to the Ft Allen club for having us there. Cheers M&M Red Power Plowing team!

I know it denny, its ok, by noon time I had the bugs worked out and was plowing hard with her. She still fires up, but doesnt sound to good when I do it. It will have to wait till I get it to Kokomo, gotta pull the engine to get to the darn thing. I am going to pull the drive shaft, slide it foward a bit and prop it up with the jack so I can pull the starter and replace it, looks like around $150 on ebay, depending what tooth count the pinion gear has.

I figured that pic above was gonna show up. The prob is the fuel pickup in the Walbro carb on those engines is on the land side, with the float not set right, it would get starved for fuel, being in the furrow and on the side of a hill was to much. I will pay for it in the wallet when I have to get a new starter now.

Just got home from plow day, I want to thank all the guys that set this up, weather was awsome for most of the day. We plowed everything we could, didnt rain till late in the afternoon and it was short lived. I had a few issues with the 982, I think I have most of them sorted out now, gonna need a new starter pinion gear I think now, or maybe the whole starter(GULP!) She spins over ok, but the gear sound isnt to healthy now. Here are my few pics, ENJOY!!!!

I posted this on the other PD site but will put it here FYI also.

Fort Allen plowing is Saturday April 26 and Sunday
April 27 and you can come to the grounds and set up on Friday April 25. I will be around all day Friday till about 7:00 PM to help anyone that shows up. If you need information before Friday call me at home 1-412-828-8072.

Let Me know if your planning on joining us for supper Saturday night. I have 31 adults and 4 Cubettes as of today and I know there are a couple coming that haven't posted about Saturday night. I think we should make 50. Thanks

Sorry to say that the Brothers' clan will most likely not be able to make any of the Plow Days in PA this year (Fort Allen or Luthersburg) Due to work schedules and other commitments. Was REALLY looking forward to making Fort Allen, may make it down Sat. just to scope things out for next year.

mike nutter:If Ken Brothers clan shows up it will be family oriented with his sons & grand children. They bring a whole caravan of equipment. The kids all seem to have a good time(except when I drive the Barrel Train). I'm sure some one will let you plow ans others will let you pull the sled with there tractor(you have to pay for the hook up). You won't be disappointed. I think your 10 & 14 should have a ball and I will give your 2 year old a tractor ride on TED.

I received the flier for The Fort Allen Plow Day held April 26-27 2008(rain or shine).
flier
If you haven't posted that you plan to attend please do so I can get a count of the people attending. They are going to keep the kitchen open for us on Saturday night so we can have our annual supper get together. This year it will just their regular menu but we may be able to do something different next year. Please let me know if you are staying for the meal Saturday evening. If you have any other questions please E-mail(click on Geezer) or phone at 1-412-828-8072. Thank you

Here is a better Map.
911 Porter Ave., Scottdale, PA 15683
I did notice that Mapquest didn't find that address but Google maps found it. That section is called West Overton.

Important FT. Allen PD Information
I have been under the weather the last few days so I missed the last Ft. Allen meeting on Tuesday April 1(last one before plow Day). Howard Demko did make it. Yes there will be a sled available to pull starting at 1:00 PM. They had to cancel the tractor square dance because of the extra costs(had to mileage from Somerset County to Ft. Allen). They will try for next year. What they really would like to know if you are staying over Saturday Night till at least long enough to have supper(They are keeping the kitchen open for us after 5 O'clock and will provide us with Hot Dogs & Hamburgers and other goodies so we can eat together and "Shoot the Breeze". This will start about 5 PM and they want to get home as it will be a long day for them but they would like an estimate of those attending. I am starting a list today so please post here or on the "Shooting the Breeze Forum"(Not Both) with how many will be eating. On PD I will pass out tickets to those people and others that should be included at our supper. FT. ALLEN KITCHEN CREW NEEDS A HEAD COUNT, Thanks. Just post EAT your name and how many adults and how many Cubettes . Thank you.

The cost will be their prices
