Hey, if this is up by the Beacon, I may be able to make this one. I tried for Luthersburg (I think) a couple of years ago but plans fell though. I don't have a CC but, if other brands are still welcome, I would love to join in the fun. On another note, I wanted to let you all know that I just recieved word that the Portersville Steam Show in Portersville PA is going to feature Cub Cadet tractors in 2009. I hope to see many of these tractors at the show and, who knows, I may even find one I want to take home. The summer show (the big show) will be July 30 through Aug. 2. You can email me at jas11964@yahoo.com for more info. |

Here is the last post by Wally Whitfield and he is looking for input from the people that may attend. Pleas note. There are two tentative dates. May 9 and if you want one day Sat, 2 days Fri & Sat or 3 days Fri, Sat & Sun?. The fall show which is being hosted by Chapter 34 will be Nov. 13,14 & 15(See Dave D post at bottom}

There can be pig roast dinner or what ever we may want on Friday and Saturday if we want I was told for less then $10. If you click on the corn maze in Geezers posts is the field we would plow. "The address to the new plow site is 231 Beacon RD. Renfrew, Pa." The reason we have to plow then is that they have to plant the corn for next years corn maze then and we can't plow in the fall till after Halloween when the corn maze is over and the corn is picked so that the fall plow days would be November 14, 15, 16 and would be the same as the spring plow days. Any ideas or questions please email me at wally_471@msn.com We can also and will have a farm and garden tractor show there if you have a date that you would like email me. We will still have the Cub Cadet Days at J and D Lawn & Tractor Sales 11020 Perry Hwy (Rt 19) Wexford Pa. 15090 August 9, 2008. Still in need of more Cubs, could use a few more

I posted the picture of the people who attended a gathering at the Beacon Hotel concerning some PD's in WPA next year. I thought that would be a good place for Chapter 34 to have their PD. Wally W. want's to try one after Fort Allen and he is going to try these dates quote:I sent you Greg's email address, I would like to try for May 8,9,10 for plow days or at least the 9th for the spring plow days then November 13,14,15 for the fall plow days. He did say we could plow some small in the summer, spring or fall. If this would work out there are other farmers around there that may like to do the same thing. Remember about the pig roast or what ever and the price he said a meal at maybe (7or so $) A lot of possible things may come from this. Also I would like a some Ideas on when the best time to have a summer farm and garden tractor show there. If anyone has any let me know or I'll just pick a date. Here are some of the pictures I took. JUST TO ADD TO WALLY'S POST BECAUSE THE OWNER,NEEDS SOME INSURANCE COVERAGE. CHAPTER 34 IF THE DIRECTORS AND MEMBERS APPROVE, WILL BE SPONSERING THIS EVENT. THIS MEANS THAT ALL OPERATORS PLOWING, OR MOVING TRACTORS AROUND THE GROUND, OTHER THAN LOADING AND UNLOADING WILL NEED TO BE A MEMBER OF THE INTERNATIONAL HARVESTER COLLECTORS. THEY WILL NOT NEED TO BE CHAPTER 34 MEMBER , ALTHOUGH THEY ARE WELCOME TO BECOME ONE OF US. Welcome to IHCC Chapter 34 Check out the web page on this site |
